Today’s multi-function printers/copiers provide powerful network-based scanning capabilities, at high speeds. They do have several key limitations, which can cause major headaches for IT staff and personnel over time:

  • MFPs are equipped with very basic scanning capabilities
  • They lack standardization to ensure a repeatable scanning process across multiple devices
  • The scanned documents produced are images and are not searchable
  • The scanning process on MFPs can be very time consuming, as each document has to be individually scanned, named and placed into the correct location on the network
  • MFPs have no inherent capability to scan directly into enterprise applications

PSIGEN provides the ability to scan and capture images and index data from a scanner, copier or MFP, to a wide variety of industry standard systems through our Migrations Modules. Whether you want to send your information to a standardized network folder structure, or automatically create a Microsoft SharePoint Document Library, we have a migration for you. Below are all the currently supported product Migrations to backend document repositories. If your Document Management or Enterprise Content Management system is not listed here, please contact PSIGEN Professional Services for Migration Script availability.
